This Privacy Policy explains how Teliyadu ("Teliyadu", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you visit teliyadu.com, www.teliyadu.com, tech.teliyadu.com or academy.teliyadu.com, or when you contact us using an address published on those sites.

This policy describes the current public website. A separate contract or notice may apply if you later use a Teliyadu product or service that collects additional information.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Teliyadu is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If your interaction is with a particular Teliyadu business, that business is responsible for the information connected with that interaction. You can ask which Teliyadu business applies to you, or request its postal details, by emailing support@teliyadu.com.

2. What information do we receive?

Information you choose to send

The public website directs enquiries and career applications to email. If you contact us, we receive the information contained in your message, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, enquiry and any files you choose to attach. A career application may also contain employment history, education and other information included in your CV.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

Technical information used to deliver and protect the site

When you request a page or file, internet and security infrastructure necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address, request date and time, requested URL, browser or device information, referring page and security-related signals. This information is used to deliver content, maintain availability, diagnose faults and identify malicious or abusive traffic.

The current production website is statically hosted. It does not currently provide public account creation, learner sessions, checkout, payment processing or website form submission. Teliyadu therefore does not receive account, learning or payment data through these public pages. Academy access is currently paused.

Cookies and similar technologies

The current public static website does not intentionally use analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies. Please read our Cookie Policy for the current position and browser controls.

3. Why do we use personal information?

We use personal information only as needed to:

• deliver pages and files you request;
• keep the website reliable and secure, prevent abuse and investigate incidents;
• respond to enquiries, discuss requested services and provide support;
• assess a career application and communicate about it;
• maintain appropriate business and legal records; and
• comply with law, enforce our rights or respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell personal information, and the current public website does not use personal information for behavioural advertising.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

• Legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve the website, respond to ordinary business enquiries and manage our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
• Steps requested before entering a contract, or performance of a contract, when you ask about or receive services;
• Legal obligations when we must retain, use or disclose information to comply with law; and
• Consent where we specifically ask for it. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Who receives personal information?

We disclose personal information only where needed for the purposes above. Recipients may include:

• Amazon Web Services, which provides the current website hosting, content delivery, DNS and web-security infrastructure;
• email and communications providers that transmit or store messages you send to us;
• professional advisers and service providers that support our operations under appropriate confidentiality or data-protection obligations; and
• courts, regulators or public authorities where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety or security.

We may also disclose relevant information in connection with a genuine corporate reorganisation, financing, sale or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. International processing

Teliyadu and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you are located. Where applicable law requires it, we use a recognised transfer mechanism or other appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. How long do we keep information?

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, including follow-up on an enquiry or application, an ongoing business relationship, security, dispute resolution and legal or accounting obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the information and the interaction. When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it where practicable.

Technical request and security information is retained, if at all, according to the relevant infrastructure configuration and provider retention settings. Teliyadu does not maintain an application database for activity on the current public static pages.

8. How do we protect information?

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information, including encrypted HTTPS delivery, restricted infrastructure access and web-security controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to send by email.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and to complain to the data-protection or privacy authority in your country.

To make a request, email support@teliyadu.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity and may retain a record of the request where required by law.

10. Children

The current public website is informational and does not offer learner accounts or collect information through an Academy registration flow. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information through these pages. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us to request review or deletion.

11. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to external websites or other Teliyadu products. Their privacy practices may differ from this policy. Review the notice on the destination site before providing personal information there.

12. Changes and contact
